The Anne Sippi Clinics – Riverside Ranch is a 50-bed residential treatment facility comprised of three distinct living environments indicative of the differing levels of care, supervision and therapeutic needs of all Residents. "The Ranch" serves is an innovative setting, designed to provide a safe and compassionate residential treatment setting. Located at The Ranch as well is a Medi-Cal certified day treatment center.
Located on 15 acres on the outskirts of Bakersfield within Kern County, the Ranch sits in an idyllic little valley, alongside the Kern River, agriculture and open space. Our treatment houses provide warm living opportunities and shared bedrooms, where our clients can experience collaborative living and meaningful relationships. Here clients are encouraged to take responsibilities for themselves, and to participate in every aspect of their care. We believe the ranch represents a truly unique opportunity for persons struggling with severe and persistent mental illness, and a setting unlike any other for our regional center referred residents with co-occurring mental illnesses.

Programs, curricula and training opportunities for Residents and Staff are available under the direction of our Licensed Clinical Directors, our Psychiatrist, and in compliance with all regulations of the California Department of Social Services.
American Sign Language (ASL) proficient staff are scheduled at The Ranch every day, in order to effectively provide for an "all-inclusive" living and growing experience. The cadre of staff includes individuals who speak multiple languages, including but not limited to Spanish, Tagalog, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Chamorro and English.
The Ranch has residents from 9 Counties throughout the state, and do accept appropriately referred residents from at least eight California Regional Centers. Having such a diversified Resident and Staff composition is just the beginning of stabilizing and growing at The Ranch. A universal goal for all Anne Sippi Clinics Treatment Group owned and operated living environments is for staff to consistently " find a way to say yes" to our residents and their families.
